Trainee lawyer at the Geneva Bar

Selma Memic is a trainee lawyer at the Geneva Bar.

She specialises in human rights, international criminal law, sports law and Swiss law.

Selma studied at the University of Geneva and the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.

She joined the firm in August 2023 after a year in a Parisian business law firm.

Prior to that, she worked for a private banking institution in Geneva, where she developed significant knowledge of international banking regulation.

She has also worked in international environments, notably with the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Switzerland and the United Nations in New York, where she dealt with issues relating to human rights and terrorism.

Passionate about sport and football, she holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in sports law and is involved in disciplinary disputes, notably before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

She is fluent in English, German, Italian, Serbo-Croatian and Russian.
