Margaux Jayawardana is a member of the Paris Bar. She joined the firm from the Paris Airports Group (ADP), where she worked mainly on internal security issues and the prevention of criminal risks at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport.

 

After completing rewarding work placements in prisons and with the enforcement of sentences department of the Versailles Judicial Court, she developed a particular interest in the supervision of detention and the law governing the enforcement of sentences.

 

She practises mainly in general criminal law and has developed particular expertise in post-sentence proceedings.

 

She practises in French and English.

 

She holds a master’s degree in criminal law and criminal sciences and a master’s degree in risk management. She continued her studies at the Ecole de Guerre (EGE), where she was trained in economic intelligence and risk prevention, international security and cyber security.

 

She is a member of the Association des Avocats pour la Défense des Droits des Détenus (A3D).
