A member of the Paris Bar, Fany Langlois joined the firm after training with French and international firms specialising in criminal business law. She has also worked in the courts, at the Paris Financial Prosecutor’s Office and at the Court of Cassation.
Her practice focuses on business criminal law, corporate criminal law and tax criminal law. In this capacity, she advises individuals and company directors in connection with criminal investigations (misuse of corporate assets, corruption, influence peddling and other breaches of probity, money laundering and concealed work), customs investigations and regulatory investigations (insider dealing and breaches of stock exchange regulations).
Recently, she has been called upon to handle high-stakes politico-financial and stock market cases before the Autorité des marchés financiers, as well as before the criminal courts of Paris and Monaco.
Fany Langlois is also developing expertise in general criminal law (personal injury, procuring, fraud and abuse of weakness) and family criminal law in international cases. She is involved in defending defendants and victims in complex cases of child abduction and kidnapping abroad, as well as domestic violence.
Originally from the south of France, Fany Langlois is a graduate of the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and the Institut de Criminologie et de Droit pénal de Paris. She also studied at the Université du Québec à Montréal in Canada. She is on the emergency criminal defence lists and works in both French and English.
A keen sportswoman, she enjoys sliding sports, both in the mountains and on the ocean.
